Thomas Mergener the author of (already tested by CCRL) Luna has publically opened his github repo for his successor chess engine Illumina.
It has a very small self trained NN (AFAIK using Marlinflow for training, see readme).
My rough guess of its strength lies between 2750-2850 (CCRL Blitz scale).

I guess you have realized meanwhile that there is also an official release now, which includes a bugfix for a rare illegal move too?
