Older FreeType

If you are using a different compiler version, for example you downloaded "FreeType-2004-12-31-MinGW-GCC-3.4.2.zip" and you are using MinGW with GCC 3.4.3, don't try your luck and recompile FreeType from source. These binary archives contain my compilation script, which may also help if you want to tweak some compiler options, or FreeType compile-time settings.

Caution: Some of these FreeType binaries contain TrueType bytecode interpreter, patented by Apple, and LCD subpixel rasterizer patented by Microsoft (AFAIK). This may possibly cause you some legal problems. Check the this page for details.
