FreeType

FreeType source code is now bundled with Glyph Keeper, so you don't need to install FreeType separately. But, just in case you still want it, here it is. Normally you get the source code from FreeType homepage and compile it. If you use MinGW you can try my compile:

Installation: Decompress, copy 'include\' contents into your compiler's 'include' directory, all *.a or *.lib files into compiler's 'lib' directory, and all *.dll into any directory in PATH (or into your program directory).

Note that this compile has no TrueType bytecode interpreter and no sub-pixel rendering, because of patent issues. If you want to use them, enable them in "include/fretype/options.h" and recompile. The archive above contains also sources and my compilation batch file so you can re-compile it easily after you change any options.

Here you can find some older versions of FreeType, if you need them.

Target libraries

Here I will post my binaries for some target libraries supported by Glyph Keeper. This is for your convenience only, I don't support these libraries. Check the linked web-sites for source code, documentation, and license.

Allegro

Normally you get it here or here. The best way is to download the sources and compile it yourself. If you use MinGW, you can try my compile:

SDL

Download the sources here and try to compile it. Glyph Keeper with SDL also requires SDL_gfx library. My compiles are below:
