Generating missing TB33p

Post by Pachnes »

Hi,

before we generate those files, we should ask, whether someone can provide md5 hashset for these files. Than we could try to start downloading them. Maybe someone is shareing them and we do not know?

Missing 3-3p EGTs

Post by guyhaw »

If you are referring to the 'last 16' DTM EGTs at the top of the 3-3p mountain, the thread 'The 16 "missing" Nalimov files' carries MB's latest news. This is that he has created Nalimov DTM EGTs from his FEG DTM EGTs, verified the Nalimov EGTs chessicly with Nalimov's code. He has also published MD5sums and stats.
I understand that these EGTs will shortly be promulgated by courier within the USA and thence ftp'd/p2p'd to the rest of the world.
Further, there are signs that someone will shortly receive the 'lost' EGT-files from Nalimov and that these will be ftp'd/p2p'd. We will then have an interesting time if the MB-sourced and EN-sourced EGT-parts are not compatible. There is certainly the possibility that the MD5sums may not be the same for the 'same' files (as MB told me) because 'broken position' index-entries can be set to arbitrary compression-helping values.
In summary, between KK's homepage and the MD5sum-data provided by MB last week, we have a complete set of MD5sums for 3-3p DTM EGTs.
