Stockfish 2.0.1 64bit occasionally and randomly lags 6-7 seconds on some moves (even when it is down to 5 seconds) and has caused a lot of time losses (about 1 in every 10 games). Does anyone know why this happens?
GUI: Fritz 9
OS: Win 7 64-bit
RAM: 4GB

In the UCI parameters, increase the Emergency Base Time from 0 to 200. That should help to eliminate the time losses.
This suggestion was previously given by Marco Costalba of the Stockfish team. If 200 doesn't solve it, try a higher value. He did suggest as high as 1,000 may be necessary, but from memory 200 worked for me.

It already is 200 but I will try 1000

Hmm It still stalls sometimes (for 20 seconds) but it is less common
