Looking at some of rybka losses I found that in the following game hiarcs used book when rybka was out of book because d6 and Bd7 played in 0 seconds when white used time

Thanks Uri. No time to chase that down this week and remove it, but we will do so as soon as possible. All games from the source pgns will be removed

I remember cases when one engine started to calculate then the other engine still moved from book. There were times when both went out of book then returned to book for some more moves.
I think these things happen because of book usage settings. E.g. a condition may exist that a move should be played only if it has at least 2 occurrences. Now if a move did not occur 2 times it will not be played so the engine must calculate. However, if the next book move has once again a frequency of at least 2, it will be played so that the other engine won't have to calculate.
I recommend checking the book line of the cited game and if the situation was as I described above, the game should be retained.
