Hey all,

I just released version v2023.03.31 of Jangine, find the release notes here: https://github.com/xjcl/jangine/release ... 2023.03.31
It obviously took me longer than expected due to additional bugs, ideas and issues cropping up.

As described in the release notes I expect a CCRL rating of circa 2161.
I hope you will be able to run it in some tournaments to improve the paltry rating of the currently-listed version (v2022.12.29, 1930).

Best regards

Hi,

Good news. However, you talk about version 2023-03-31 but the engine displays 2023-04-01.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake, I just uploaded executables that are identical but have the version string fixed.

I am testing Jangine under Arena, using the time control 1:30+0.75 (in other words, 90s for the whole game with 750ms increment per move). I am not sure Jangine understands it because it moves very quickly , leaving a lot of time unused.
There were lots of time forfeits as well.
