Hello!

To get the necessary information out of the way:

Author name: Nicolas
Author Nationality: Canadian
Engine name: Athena
Estimated Rating: 1800 rating on Lichess (not too sure how this converts to actual Elo rating unfortunately)

The engine is open source and the repository can be found at https://github.com/NicolasSegl/Athena

The compiled binaries are located in the bin folder.

There's a bug on cutechess where it disconnect from the GUI and does an illegal move

Hm that's weird. Do you have any more information? It works on my end when I use Arena

I've since updated the code a little bit (so the github link in the op will have the updated executable), and mine seems to work just fine with the cutechess GUI. Would you mind giving it another go maybe?
