Post by e-motion »

Instructions say
If you install TLCV (Tom's Live Chess Viewer) on your computer, you can watch the games live move by move and chat to others following the tournament in the chatroom there.

Host - GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org Port - 16083
I've downloaded and installed the 'Tom's Live Chess Viewer' software. It opens fine and then I set the host to GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org and port to 16083.
When I connect ''Attempting to connect..." after a few seconds I get a message saying:
"Unable to connect to server"

The windows firewall is off. I can launch a command prompt and successfully ping GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org as follows

C:\Users\Me>ping GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org

Router permission settings perhaps?
Unfortunately I'm not a technical expert on such matters.

I really do wish that TLCV was more accessible, as many enthusiasts seem to strike problems trying to connect. :(
