Vincent has told me that the .0. file is a pron movie, which also is true about the .1. file. I have to assume that the .2. files is the same, even if it is currently not in a state to be checked.
If you want to verify Vincent's and my own findings simply copy the pat file to xxx.mpg, and double-click on it.
I would really like to get my hands on the person playing this hoax, and show whoever it is just how funny I think it is.....
Sympathies. Offering counterfeit goods as a form of marketing ... desperate and pathetic, but not new on the web.
Spurious <anything invisible>, e.g. metadata, to mislead robots now means search engines like Google just ignore such stuff.
Is there a word for this particular 'dark side' activity?
Technically, I guess the only defence is announcements of new EGTs here, and/or 'eDonkey' file-signatures on Kirill's index-page. g

The best way I can see to overcome this is to download files with verified md5sum. Or whatever mechanism emule uses for verification. I just grabbed the list from this site.. that way I know what file I'm getting is one that has been verified to be right.
Using the search tool for kxxkxx can cause problems like this.

He uploaded from an IP address in Reno, Nevada. kppkpp is a name of a German porn star. Just google it. However, I don't know why it would have the .nbw.emd extensions. And his nick was simply proto, not protos. Not to get confused with http://Phobos.
