Dear CCRL community,
I just released the first version (1.0) of Gargantua, a UCI chess engine that only uses NNUE (currently a Stockfish network) for evaluation. It is based on BBC and derived from my previous engine: Chess0. I've tested it on my local machine against different engines and beats most of the engines, probably being close to 3000 ELO.
If you could test my engine against the CCRL engines, it would be awesome, so I could know what is the accurate ELO.
Note that the .exe also requires the NNUE network included in the execution directory, otherwise it will not be able to play.
Here's some info about the engine:
Name: Gargantua
Version: 1.0
Protocol: UCI
Author: Claudio M. Camacho
Country: Finland
Source Code: https://github.com/mkd/gargantua
Download: https://github.com/mkd/gargantua/releases/tag/1.0
Estimated strength: ~3000 Elo
Let me know if you are able to test this version, and if you need anything else.
Thanks in advance!
