Old version's FRC games

Post by Volker Annuss »

Hello CCRL team,

your site and http://www.chess-960.org are the only ones I know that offer lots of Chess960 games for download.

I need as many games I can get for statistics for my engine Hermann. What is the value of a pawn in the opening? The answer to this question could be different in Chess960 and in traditional chess where we have an opening theory (with gambits).

Now I noticed, that your Chess960/FRC games from old engine versions disappeared from the pgn download file.
Could you please make them all available again.

Thank you
Volker

Sorry, I missed this post.

Yes, there are games available for Hermann 1.7, Movei 366, Hiarcs 11 and Hiarcs X54. I'll make them available in the next few days

Excellent.

By the way, nice improvement for Hermann 1.9 over Hermann 1.7 :)
