I'm only window shopping not buying (so far), but would probably get the 3TB Seagate. Same cost per TB, and I like their 5 year warranty. I have several large external Western Digital and Seagate USB 2.0 drives and they all work fine for data storage. Of course they're not fast enough for regular access of EGTB's in conjunction with chess engines. They would slow down the engine too much.
Incidentally I now have the complete 6-piece Nalimov EGTB's (all except the 5-1's) thanks to a friend in France and can provide copying service in USA to external USB 2.0/3.0 drives. 1.2TB minimum free space needed. PM me if interested.
