7 piece question

Does anyone have any of the 7 piece tb's and if so why are they being shared on e-mule? Is it because they would not work with the existing chess engines?

To the best of my knowledge none of the 7men egtb's have been available to the public. There has been some reports over the years that they are being worked on but the discussions tend to fizzle out. Forget the author at the moment. Hopefully once more are done they can be released into the wild. I know I'm not the only one anxious for them

Probably the gentlemen you have in mind are Yakov Konoval and Marc Bourzutschky. They are - or at least were - leading the chase in the field of 7-man tablebase generation. Though, their game of prey is DTC. In that regard I'm after a different animal. DTM is my interest.
