New member and missing tbs files?

Post by EnPlaisant »

Hello experienced CCRL members,

I am a new member and last week started to get the 6 men EGTB's (ftp, p2p and tbgen/datacomp).
Already 97 files (41.7 GB) downloaded.
Only 2415 files (1105.2 GB) to go ! :D
But I miss some tbs files in the 33p set.
Is there anybody who have these files?

Thanks,
Marco de Boer (EnPlaisant)

Hi Marco!

Welcome to the community! The TBS-files should be avaiable at ->
http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/tablebase ... html#6_men

Look at http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/tablebase ... html#6_men

If you click on "TBS" at " KBBBKN – 0.67 GB in 2 files (tbs | md5)", you should be able to download the tbs-file of this set. If there are tbs-files missing, please post here, maybe we can complete together.
Regards,

Thomas

Hi Marco -

Did you ever locate these missing tbs files? They've not yet appeared on the web site. I'm certain that if you (or someone) sends them to Kirill he will gladly update.

Hello EnPlaisant,

A little progress on this front to report. I've generated tbs stats for one of the missing files - krrkpp - using "tbstats". The distribution looks reasonable and the max DTM of 48 matches the figure on Kirill's page. Black to move has a longest mating line of 149. The tbs file is attached.

I'd prefer to collect the stats from the compressed emd files, but I haven't programmed that yet. So as it stands I'm uncompressing the missing files first. Since 25 of the missing 28 are multi-part files, this will take a while.

That's odd - I don't see the attached file. I'll try again.
