An Update of your old eMule to 0.47c does not change your ..

Post by Pachnes »

Hi!

An Update of your old eMule to eMule 0.47c does not change your configuration and does not affect either credits and either userhash. The new eMule will use the ports, defined for your old eMule. To ensure this you may not make a new install, just ...

Download this file ->

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/emule/eMule0.47c.zip

Stop your eMule.

Make a backup of your eMule directory (except .../emule/temp and except .../emule/incoming, but I think, you have moved these 2 directories long before to another place, because we have huge amounts of big files and and need much space for these directories.

Unzip "eMule0.47c.zip" and replace all files and directories in your old emule directory with the new ones.

Open ...emule/config/ipfilter.dat with your prefered editor an make this file empty and save it again.

Done.

Start eMule.

New eMule will use your old configuration.

Sometimes the "Connection Manager" appears at first start.

Just cancel the "Connection Manger".

Your eMule should work as before.

Now check "Enable Obfuscation" in "Security" and restart eMule.

Thomas
