How will I download fast?
Hi Norm, welcome to the community! You should try to spread and balance your download between TB42, TB33p and TB42p at the same time. Not everybody of us is shareing TB33 or TB42 anymore, as some members now concentrate to upload the more rare files out of TB33p and TB42p to the community. That way ...

Re: eMule 0.47c released: Severe security leak.
Hi, eMule 0.47c has been released. It does heal a security leak in KAD 2.0 and KAD 1.0. So we all should update to 0.47c. This security leak was not established with the recently released eMule 0.47b. This issue is in older versions, for example eMule 0.47a, too. I am afraid, that Mods could have t...

Re: New member and missing tbs files?
Hello experienced CCRL members, I am a new member and last week started to get the 6 men EGTB's (ftp, p2p and tbgen/datacomp). Already 97 files (41.7 GB) downloaded. Only 2415 files (1105.2 GB) to go ! :D But I miss some tbs files in the 33p set. Is there anybody who have these files? Thanks, Marco...

Translation from Babelfish:
Cari Signore Guido!

Please translate this for user alb (alb2) to italian, as he tries such a configuration and gets banned always, he starts his second eMule. cryptkey.dat and preferences.dat together identify you at the emule network. So if you start, to use a second emule (maybe at a second pc) simultaneously with yo...

Re: There are many good mods :-)
I have 2 questions: (1) Have you patched TCPIP.SYS? (2) Wouldn't four instances on the same connection slow down your uploads? Yes I have patched tcpip.sys to 64 half open connections. Each instance is configured to a max. of 25 half connections. When I did use a single instance of eMule, I configu...

There are many good mods :-)
I noticed that you have switched to Magic Angel. Is it better than Xtreme? :-) I just try it. Until now it works very stable, stable upload. It could not be bad, because it is based on MorphXT 9.1, which is a very good Mod. There is a interesting feature with Magic Angel 2.0: In the "Magic Ang...

Re: Starting a 6-piece-collection, too
I have begun downloading 6-piece tbs as well. Hence some questions: In order to use KPPKPP: Will I need to download all other 3-3 tbs too? Or will I risk some engines screwing up when it comes to underpromotion time? End: What other 6-piece TBs should I download at all (completeness is not an optio...

Hi Kirill, You are right: There are many good mods: Schwarzer Vogel does swear, that Neomule from David Xanatos is the best Mod. He maybe is right. I tried it last weekend, it is really great. But this Mod has so many features, that it is very difficult, to configure it. And support for this Mod wou...

Advantages of eMule Mods like Xtreme 5.3.1
Hi, there are many advantages of eMule Xtreme 5.3.1 over eMule Standard in usabilty. If you are common to Xtreme, you will never change back to eMule Standard. :-) But there is one advantage which is very important: You can check in "Xtreme Options" an algorithm which helps to spread rare ...

Hi! An Update of your old eMule to eMule 0.47c does not change your configuration and does not affect either credits and either userhash. The new eMule will use the ports, defined for your old eMule. To ensure this you may not make a new install, just ... Download this file -> http://prdownloads.sou...

Re: Welcome to the community!
Hi Kees, there are at least 3 complete sources for every file. There are sure other 3 uncomplete sources (members of the community, who download these files) for every file. So you should have 6 sources for every file. Please try to enable KAD and connect to DonkeyServer No2 with IP 62.241.53.16. To...

How can we ensure, that you can download from me? (Update)
Hi! As you know, I have finished downloading. So my eMule does not search active for sources (for your emule !) anymore. When an eMule does download, it does ask round robin all known servers for sources and will be known by and by to all servers this way. My shared files now are only known to the s...

Please update to eMule 0.47c, hints for configuration.
Hi, some countries and some ISPs try to prevent their inhabitants/customers from using eMule. They do it either by blocking all traffic to the (known) IP-Adresses of eDonkey-Servers, or by throttling speed. Therefore the dev-team of eMule introduced a new feature to eMule 0.47c, called "obfusca...

It is an algorithm to select chunks.
Hi Kirill, welcome back! This is an algorithm which was introduced in NeoMule early this year. Second it tries to download a new chunk of ...

Welcome to the community!
Hi,
welcome to the community.
I see, you use the ancient eMule 0.46c. Most of us are not archaeologists, so you should update to eMule 0.47c. There are a few severe security leaks, which are fixed with 0.47c.

eMule 0.47c Xtreme 5.3
Hi,
I am testing eMule 0.47c Xtreme 5.3, Obfuscating on. I am using the new zz algorithm for upload. If you see any issue in downloading from me (most of you), or uploading to me, than please report it here or post me with your Mule.
Until now it seems to be a stable piece of software.

Hi Josh, I looked up the source of eMule 0.47c, and as far as I do understand it, they use md4 for filehash and sha1 for roothash. Do not oversee the parameter "-eDonkey" at the website of "fsum", which was posted by guyhaw. eDonkey and eMule do use different methods. Just search...

eMule: Distinguished name.
Hi, it would be nice, if all of you, who have the name http://emule-projekt.net or http://www.aMule.org could change their name in eMule to a nickname (Please do not all change to the nickname "eMuleUser"). This would it make easier to distinguish one person from the other in clients list....
