Unfortunately we can not do anything :-)
Hi TapaniS.. This is nick theft.. I saw Kirr-2 and Kirr-3 clients which were not me. I don't know what advantage it gives to the thief. May be Thomas can tell, because he knows more about eMule. I know that some eMule mods will automatically detect ID thiefs and ban them. eMule Xtreme and Scarangel...

Hi, That is what I call honest ! Say you download far more than upload ! That is because I upload 60 kBytes/s to Coleus and get ONLY 386 Bytes back ! Be careful else you will get on a blacklist ! Marco de Boer Hi Marco, this is the normal situation with most providers. I have a DSL line from my pro...

I was wondering about webcache. As far as I understand, it was not originally intended for sharing terabytes of niche database among 10-20 individuals.. It was probably intended for speeding up browsing the web. So. My intuitive understanding is that by using webcache for EGTB exchange we are basic...

Re: How many complete Nalimov sets are there?
Hi John, hi Kirill, I do share a complete set too, but as I posted earlier, I would like, if all of the members, who are able to, would use a eMule Mod with Webcache function. I use StulleMule 4.1, as this Mod does show the webcache hits and the amount of MB I transfer to the webcache. I think, if 5...

Re: Webcache: Downloadrate does increase. Update 29.11.2006
Hi, I am afraid, ScarAngel 1.7 has a bug in its webcache implementation. So I recommend StulleMule 4.1 as coleus and I have tested the webcache feature with this mod and webcache does work with it. I have posted to Stulle, who is the developer of both Mods about the issue with ScarAngel 1.7. Maybe i...

Re: Webcache Proxy wcitalia.no-ip.info at port 80
Hi! The new configuration does work well: wcitalia.no-ip.info at port 80 At "Show advanced controls" in webcache configuration please write 0 at 180 KB-Blocks, uncheck (disable) all 4 items. With this configuration I now upload to the webcache proxy every day about 250 MB. And this upload ...

Re: Dedicated eMule server?
Hi Derek, we need no dedicated server for our community, but we should all connect to the same server, as than all sources are concentrated at one of them. I suggest, to choose a small server, which does run lugdunum 17.14. The server should support obfuscation and must have a soft- and hardwarelimt...

Re: Whats everyone's download/upload stats? :)
I'd be curious to hear from anyone their totals for download and totals for upload over emule. Just started a little over 24 hours ago. Down 6.3GB, up 12.1GB. To this end, it would be very cool to have a mod that kept track of TB upload/download data. I think it would get some to up their max uploa...

How to get a High ID? Update 14. June 2008
Hi! Having a Low ID does always mean, that the needed ports in your hardware firewall and/or softwarefirewall are not opened for eMule and/or those needed ports are not forwarded in your hardware router (if you use one) to the IP of the computer, where your eMule is installed. Remember: You need a f...

Re: FAQ: How to download files with eMule?
Hi! In "Options", "General" there is a Button "ed2k Links" which must be pressed 1 time, before Windows associates eMule links with the Program eMule. An other solution is, to search for the desired files in "Search", mark the files and right click to them. Th...

Hi Kirill, I am quiet sure, that at -> http://www.filesharingweb.de/mediaWiki/index.php/Main_Page they describe the different credit systems. However the site is (temporaly ?) offline. But you can check your self. Check "Official Creditsystem" and go to the queue and sort the list by "...

Pictures of eMule Configuration

Re: WILHELM's checking of files
WILHELM will not check a subset of .nbb files or a subset of .nbw files. It will check all the files of a subset of n-man EGTs after 'n' is chosen. Just click on the relevant endgames and say 'Check' rather than 'Check all'. WILHELM's rather curious "integer" presumably means 'integrity o...

Re: Wilhelm says: Error!
I think, Wilhelm does tests of complete sets only. It can test the nbb-files of a whole set or the nbw-files of a whole set. It can not test single files of a set, when the other files of the set are not avaiable.

Try md5sum.exe
Dowload the program md5sum.exe and copy it to c:\windows\system32. Download "all-33p.md5" from Kirills website. Copy "all-33p.md5" to the directory C:\temp. Than go into the directory, where your files TB33p are. md5sum -c C:\temp\all-33p.md5 > c:\temp\test_tb33p.txt All lines (r...

Hi Kirill! Yes, there is a very good reason, that you as a releaser does use webcache: Example: You and the clients A, B, C, D, E, F, ... are connected to the same (public) webcache proxy. Client C is in your queue and is asking for chunk no. 52 of file kppkpp from you. When client C gets an upload ...

I do offer my Database in ChessBase format.
Hi, I have collected chess games for the last 20 years. In 1986 I started with the program "Chessbase 1" on my Atari ST :-) The parameters of the database are as follows: > 300.000 games, no doubles, one player has ELO 2501 at least, the other player has ELO 2351 at least, all games have 1...

Re: Tablebase Cache Size
I play engine chess and have the following question about what EGTB cache size to use. 1. Is the tablebases cached or is an index file cached? 2. If the index file is cached, what size is the index file? 3. If an index file exist, what is its name? 4. I have used 256MB cache for years, am I wasting...

Webcache: Downloadrate does increase. Update 05.12.2006
Hi, I would like to ask all users, who now use any eMule, to update to MorphXT 9.2 or a MorphXT 9.2 based eMule. There are two fine Mods which are based on Morph XT 9.2: StulleMule 4.1 and MagicAngel 2.1. All three Mods have the webcache feature. -> http://emulemorph.sourceforge.net/modules.php?name...
