Tiger 2007: A disappointment? Ktulu 8 - CT 2007: 16-14
Bad result for our new tiger baby.
Both with 256 MB and pb12moves.ctg, 40/40.
Is CT2007 really better than CT15? We will see:
Next match: CT 15.0 vs. CT 2007.

Wilhelm says: Error!
I have downloaded a couple of nalimovs via Emule (and still am). After completing my set of 33p nalimovs, I have checked them with Wilhelm. Strangely this program declares almost all of my downloaded 33p tablebases to be faulty. I am not really keen on downloading all those files again. Can it be th...

Hi Andreas! Are you using a High ID in Emule ?? Otherwise you are cutting yourself off from a lot of sources..... I found out what was wrong: I am using XTreme 5.3.1 and I had NAFC enabled. This slowed my connection down to 1.0 - 3.0 kb/s. Now I have disabled it and I am getting about 60 - 70 kb/s ...

I see ... Anyway: Downloading from p2p takes too long ... I only get about 50 kb/s for these 3:3 nalimovs. Since I need my computer for other things too (CCRL!), I don't have the time to wait on the downloads to complete in a few years and the practical use of 6-piece-nalimovs for me is quite low, a...

Hi Andreas! Nice to hear that you are joining! About KPPKPP - I think you should be fine using it even without any other sets. These days most of engines are clever enough to handle promotion and incomplete tablebase situation. Of course having all K?PKPP sets is a good idea in any case as these en...

Starting a 6-piece-collection, too
I have begun downloading 6-piece tbs as well. Hence some questions: In order to use KPPKPP: Will I need to download all other 3-3 tbs too? Or will I risk some engines screwing up when it comes to underpromotion time? End: What other 6-piece TBs should I download at all (completeness is not an option...
