Re: Website

Hi Norm, I have a suggestion for your overclocking section: It would be great for newbies if you could include details like type of cpu, motherboard, memory, cooling, power supply and all the overclocked bios settings. It would be even better if you could have details of several different setups. Th...

Re: Website

Your "Engine Chess" is a great website with a lot of useful information about computer chess. What I like most is the opening book and playchess engine games sections. You and Spaghetti Chess are the only source for people who want to collect playchess engine games. Keep up the good work! ...

Re: There are many good mods :-)

I noticed that you have switched to Magic Angel. Is it better than Xtreme? :-) I just try it. Until now it works very stable, stable upload. It could not be bad, because it is based on MorphXT 9.1, which is a very good Mod. There is a interesting feature with Magic Angel 2.0: In the "Magic Ang...

But this Mod has so many features, that it is very difficult, to configure it. And support for this Mod wo...

I added this to the project page: You can also download some of the 6-men tablebases at olympuschess by Joshua Shriver and Tablewell by TapaniS. Please use those sites only if you are for some reason unable to run eMule (or aMule on Mac/Linux), because when you download the EGTB files with eMule yo...

Thanks TapaniS for sharing your files online. Your FTP idea for others to upload and share TBs on-line is excellent. I see that kalyanasundaram is the first to upload files via ftp to http://www.tablewell.net/Tbase6/6index.htm. Thanks kalyanasundaram. Now, I hope others who have those rare TB sets w...

Re: On sharing rare files

I want to make a suggestion to spread rare files as fast as possible. Could members who have completed rare files (those with the yellow smileys on the index page); please share them at a higher priority setting (release) than the more common files? What egtbs would you consider rare or highly want...
