What does strategy do, does it make sense to change it and how to do it? Is there a way to disable logging? That file has already grown to 25 MB. Hey Gabor, one trick I've used in the past to handle similar situations where I wasn't lucky enough to have the author make a change :) Here is the trick...

Re: CCRL Testing/Contributing
I don't know the Ryzens, but an issue can be that the benchmark changes as the number of cores used changes. E.g. when I use 5 cores my benchmark is approximately 0.8 times the benchmark of the reference machine, using 6 cores (6 simultaneous tournaments) it slows down to about 0.85 etc. I change my...

Re: New Engine: Izumi-chan
The engine itself is 'interface.exe' if I'm not mistaken. Are all those dll's required to run it?
Also, a bit troublesome that all r's are replaced by w's, or is it my computer?

Re: Stockfish derivative engines and registration problem
If so, How is it possible for an engine( Torch v1 ) to be registered in less than a month and be among the top 3 chess rankings? I don't understand what you don't understand. There is no registration. Engines are announced or found and we individually decide if we test one or not. Maybe I don't und...

Re: Stockfish derivative engines and registration problem
Yes, this is what I wrote: "a CCRL member might pick it up for testing" Which means each member may decide if he tests it or not. I have decided not to test it. I am simply not interested. Others may decide otherwise. I can understand your frustration but that's how it is. My stance might ...

Re: New engine: CederChess
Hi Claus, My CPU is an i7-12700K. The i7-4770K is our reference machine. We run the Stockfish 10 bench command to determine how our machine compares to the reference machine, that's why I use 90+1 instead of 120+1. Anyway, I think the time management of an engine should suit all machine speeds and t...

Second run of CederChess 2 64-bit in progress.
Watching some games I noticed that it moves too quickly, sometimes almost instantly. It has more time at the end of the game than at the start. The time control I use is 1:30+1 (90+1).

Extremely good ones, well done. Only, oxidation spelling is suspect.
