Here is the source code of datacomp. Please have a look at Andrew Kadatch's copyright notice in complib.c

So it looks as I was just a bit too greedy, now it is ok. The other completed files, wtm 0-a and btm 0-b, are all fine. Thanks!

Hi Josh

First of all, thank you for offering the files for download.

I've downloaded krpkbp.b.nbb.emd twice from your host and it was defective twice - so most likely the version you offer is defective. Can you please check the md5sum on your side? Thanks.

Hi Kirill

I'm sorry, I cannot reproduce your problem on my machine. This makes it almost impossible to find out what causes this strange beheaviour.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I've been searching google and can't find the link to download wilhelm. Actually, it very easy, for example you can search for "Wilhelm EGTB" and the first two hits point to the webpage. http://www.geocities.com/rba_schach2000/ Most of the dev should...

I found same problem with KQNKQP tablebase too. I'll post position if needed.
Let me guess... the crucial position is a mate in 127 moves? I think I have found the problem and know how to fix it.

You seem not be able to argue rationally or to explain what you mean, and continue with your baseless claims. I am not going to waste my time with this any longer. The others can make their own conclusions. Rafael B. Andrist What are you talking about?? To clarify this: The integrity check of Wilhel...

to testing with wilhelm: unfortunately, it seems to be a ''feature'' of wilhelm that if the subset is not present, regardless of accuracy of generation, file will be called flawed if the random test position happens to jump to a subset table that isn't there. What are you talking about?? To clarify...

as far as i can tell , the krppkr.2 file released flawed by chessbase has been replaced. it was pyhsically the same size as the correct one, but had a different date stamp (how you could tell by file on dvd). it passed the datacomp tes, suggesting incorrect generation. (I have snipped your other sp...

Some comments to ryan_hirst: 2. I think it is even better not to use these 6-men EGTB in search when there is a safe and easy win. In your [...]-argumentation you ignore the extra time needed for accessing the EGTB. 3. Accessing the 5-men on a DVD is very slow (compared to a HDD). This would only wo...
