Re: CCRL 40/15 Testing Conditions (previously 40/40)
Have you tried to run Amoeba 3.1 with 4 cores using ChessGUI, which is what I use for all of my testing? You set threads to 4, but it still only uses 1. ChessGUI is a Windows application. I would have to either try to install it on my Linux workstation using Wine, and also use Windows build of Amoe...

Re: CCRL 40/15 Testing Conditions (previously 40/40)
Amoeba, like for an example Stockfish, supports the "Threads" option. So if Stockfish works in your application, Amoeba should certainly work too. Amoeba: uci id name Amoeba 3.1.l64p-l id author Richard Delorme option name Ponder type check default false option name Hash type spin default ...

Re: CCRL 40/40 Testing Conditions
Could you then also add Amoeba 3.1 4CPU to the 40/40 list please?Graham Banks wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2017 7:34 am Not an oversight. At present I'm the only one doing 40/4 4CPU testing, but I'm helping to get the 40/40 4CPU list in better shape before turning my attention back to the 40/4 4CPU list.

Re: Does the Linux version of Livius actually work?
Hey Richard - glad to see you here! :) Look, could you please do a telnet GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org 16001 and tell me whether it gives any output? When I execute it all I get is: dejan@turing$ telnet GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org 16001 Trying 222.154.252.101... After some time the connection times out. I also u...

Does the Linux version of Livius actually work?
Could anyone here who uses Linux build of Livius confirm being able to connect to the GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org ? I have tried 50 times to connect to this server in the last few months, and it failed every time (I double-checked the connection parameters - I am perfectly aware of the fact that port chan...

Re: WARNING: Executables!!!
If the Windows executable runs on Wine (it should in most cases), I recommend testing inside a container (Docker or LXC). That way the testing environment will not be affected if the executable contains a virus.

Amoeba 3.0 64bit 4CPU
I wonder is there a plan to add 4CPU version of Amoeba 3.0 64bit to the competition as beginning with version 3.0 Amoeba can utilise multiple cores?
