Are the system requirements definite? It should somehow be possible to run the generator in some distributed fashion, even if it takes more time?

Actually, Rybka 1.0 Beta w32 finds Ka2 without any tablebases! In my tests, that was the only engine to do so.

Also, kbpkbp.6.nbw.emd is a problem only for Spike 1.2. Other engines work OK.

You need the subendgame tablebases only if you need to play till the mate. Anyway, kqrpkr is not included in krppkr. But krppkr is sufficient, to get the result of a krppkr position.
