Frequency of 7-piece endgame positions

Hi, when we did download 6-piece Nalimov TBs about 12 years ago, there were 2 lists of the frequency of 6-piece positions, one for humay play, the other one for computer games. Does such lists also exist for 7-piece endgame positions? I know that: https://chess-db.com/public/research/endgame_statist...

Wuala can help us, to share tablebases!

There is a new technology, named "Wuala" (french voilà), to share files over the internet. (http://www.wuala.com)

I ask you all, to read about this.

We could use this, to share a complete set via "Wuala". What do you think about my suggestion? We would not need eMule anymore.

Re: eMule 0.49b released

You could download eMule 0.49b via your running emule? Search for emule 0.49b :-)

Or, you will find the ed2k-link at

http://contentdb.emule-project.net/

It is at the first rank of the list. The content database of the eMule project is very good.

eMule 0.49b released

Hi! http://www.emule-project.net just did release eMule 0.49b. The main change is an improvment of KAD. KAD is getting more and more important for us. http://www.gruk.org/server.met does only deliver 9 save servers. Remember: Servers, which are not in the list of http://www.gruk.org/server.met are r...

eDonkey Servers, "File Limit"

Be sure, to connect to a server, which will meet the number of files, you share. ed2k-Servers are configured with a file limit. ed2k-server "Saugstube", for example, can index only 800 files of every user. If you are connected to "saugstube" for example and If you share more file...

Re: Re"hashing" krppkr corruption -- Why the "patch" on emule?

When you do a search in eMule, the files you have already downloaded will be shown in green colour. The files you are just downloading will be shon in red colour. There is a second (corrupt) krppkr.2.nbw.emd, which is shown in black colour. Black means, this file is completely new for you. Look, bot...

Re: Where do I find the following 6 man egtb files

Hi Dan! These tablebases should be all online. Just install eMule (http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1&rm=download), go to the website http://kirill-kryukov.com/chess/tablebases-online/ and run the eMule program. Then klick at the eDonkey links of the sets you want to download.

Re: KBBKBN.TBS, is there an overflow error in it?

KBNKNN.TBS has the same issue. There are also no "Broken Positions" for "Black to Move" listed. Am I right, that "Broken Positions" are positions, where - for example - both Kings are in check? It could be, that the counter result with overflow was exactly was 0. So we ...

eDonkey Servers

Hi! Our eMule does need much time to find sources, if we all are connected to different servers. There are many fake servers running. Fake servers tell your eMule, that they are eDonkey Servers, but they do - the best - nothing. So we should use all the same small and clean server.met file and conne...

KBBKBN.TBS, is there an overflow error in it?

The KBBKBN.TBS does show for Draws -1846231405 ("-" does mean minus here) positions. There must be an overflow error in the counter for Draws in the program.

New eMule version 0.49a available!

Hi all!

There is a new eMule 0.49a available at

http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/ ... m=download

Main changes are security improvements and a better KAD algorithm. At first glance over 20 hours: It does work well.

You should all install this new version.

Hi community!

Derek, thank you for this effort. So everybody can download these sets from you via ftp. I just have stopped shareing TB33 and TB33p, to concentrate my upload bandwith to TB42 and TB42p.

Do you all agree with this?
